A few years ago, I inherited her sewing machine. It didn’t take me long to discover quilting. Having become somewhat obsessed, I made quite a few quilts for our home, my husband, our kids and friends. When a friend requested a Christmas quilt and none of the designs out there felt quite right, I designed the You’re a Gift quilt.
Why Duck Ducklings Design?
For several years, we’ve had a duck build a nest in our enclosed back yard. Every year we would pay close attention to when the eggs hatched, so we could make sure the ducklings would reach water within 24 hours. Like us, mama Duck had chosen this back yard as a safe place for her kids. As some of my inspiration for my designs comes from my kids; this is how Duck Ducklings Design was born.
